Local stories.
Local languages.
Lasting change.

We work with filmmakers and communities across Africa and Asia to produce educational films that give help and hope where they’re needed most.

Vision & Mission

We imagine a world where everyone has the knowledge and opportunity to improve their lives with the support and understanding of their community.
We work alongside local people and filmmakers to produce, distribute and show educational films in local languages, for vulnerable communities across Africa and Asia.

What we do

Three ways
we make films
go further.

Every project we take on brings together three strands of work, production, people, and impact, so films don’t just get made, they get watched, understood and acted on.

01 — Produce

We commission and fund films.

Local-language productions on the issues that matter most to the communities we serve, from public health to disability rights to climate.

02 — Train

We mentor local filmmakers.

Practical training, mentorship and equipment for the next generation of storytellers, with a focus on encouraging female participation.

03 — Screen

We take films to audiences.

Mobile cinema kits, community screenings and facilitated conversations, so audiences don’t just watch, they engage.

Writing Stories That Change Perceptions

It is an inspiring conversation with filmmaker and author Elspeth Waldie, exploring the journey of creating meaningful stories that drive social change. Drawing from years of experience producing films in underserved communities, this session offers valuable insights into storytelling, filmmaking, and the power of authentic narratives. Whether you’re a filmmaker, writer, student, or creative professional, you’ll gain practical lessons on transforming ideas into impactful stories.

Change With The Climate, 2014

In their words
